Measure the whole insurance case, not the AI task

A faster step matters only if the journey improves.

Business context. Practical action. Shared accountability.

UNDERSTAND THE CHALLENGE

The business issue

AI may reduce the time required for a document summary while the overall case remains delayed by missing authority, fragmented systems or an unresolved customer question. Business value should be assessed across the complete workflow.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

01

Follow the downstream effect

Measure preparation, review, referral and correction together. Identify whether time saved in one team becomes work for another. Separate straightforward and complex cases so an average does not hide deterioration in the cases that most need expertise.

02

Include quality and customer effort

Track errors, repeated information requests and the clarity of communication. A shorter handling time can be misleading if the customer must do more work. Compare similar cases and explain changes in volume or mix before attributing a result to the technology.

03

Use evidence to refine scope

Expand the assisted workflow where it demonstrates useful performance, and limit it where specialist judgment or poor data makes the result unreliable. Review overrides and escalations as learning signals. The organization should be willing to redesign the workflow rather than defend the original automation target.

MEASURE WHAT MATTERS

Look for evidence of improvement

Establish a baseline and agree appropriate targets. These are proposed measures, not claims of customer results.

Work across all participating teams.

02

First-pass quality

Cases progressing without avoidable correction.

How Genellipse can help

Genellipse can combine AegisNow workflow evidence with GeneAnalytics views and Cortex AI assistance. We would define value at the case level and review both efficiency and control outcomes with the insurer.

AegisNow can connect insurance workflows with existing administration and finance systems, while GeneData supports reconciled information and Cortex AI assists with bounded review tasks. Genellipse agrees product scope, rules and integrations with the insurer. Authorized professionals retain responsibility for underwriting, claims decisions, contractual interpretation and financial approvals.
