The policyholder should not have to navigate your legacy systems

Build a coherent insurance journey around the person, the promise and the evidence.

UNDERSTAND THE CHALLENGE

The business issue

Customers do not organize their lives around an insurer’s application boundaries. They need to understand their cover, complete a change or resolve a claim. When internal systems are fragmented, the organization should manage that complexity rather than asking the policyholder to become its coordinator.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

01

Design around a coherent case

Connect identity, policy context, documents, communications and task status with appropriate access. Preserve the distinction between what has been submitted, reviewed and completed. A shared case view should support the people doing the work without exposing sensitive information more broadly than necessary.

02

Use APIs to connect capability safely

Existing administration systems can remain authoritative while controlled interfaces make selected functions available to a modern workflow. Define transaction meaning, permissions, status and recovery. A portal should not claim completion when the back-end operation remains pending or has failed. Integration quality becomes part of the customer experience.

03

Use AI to reduce friction, not remove responsibility

An assistant can organize documents, identify missing information and prepare clear communication from approved evidence. Underwriting, claims, advice and payment decisions retain their appropriate authority and review. Design for ambiguity and provide a usable human route. A customer should not become trapped in an automated conversation when the case needs a person.

04

Measure the promise from end to end

Review completion, rework, repeated contact, communication quality and service accessibility. Compare outcomes for different case types and investigate where automation creates new burdens. A bounded first implementation can focus on one high-friction journey, prove the controls and establish the evidence for a wider program.

MEASURE WHAT MATTERS

Look for evidence of improvement

Establish a baseline and agree appropriate targets. These are proposed measures, not claims of customer results.

How Genellipse can help

Genellipse can bring AegisNow, GeneData and Cortex AI together with the insurer’s existing applications. Our implementation approach starts with a specific policyholder journey and continues through integration, review and operational ownership so the improvement is visible in the service itself.

AegisNow can connect insurance workflows with existing administration and finance systems, while GeneData supports reconciled information and Cortex AI assists with bounded review tasks. Genellipse agrees product scope, rules and integrations with the insurer. Authorized professionals retain responsibility for underwriting, claims decisions, contractual interpretation and financial approvals.
